Hello Hungry Mountain

Hello hungry mountain. Would you have more of me today?
You send your purple mist to pull me like a hand, cloying and tugging at my concentration.

Yes mountain, you have my eyes again.

That line, it's too neat, too hard, too like a marker traced across a screen.
And blue for the sky. How obvious.

And look, a perfectly choreographed V of geese, balancing the weight of the cloud.

That dark cloud though, I didn't expect that, it's a nice touch. Holding over all, for the time being.
There is irony there.

Now a new line is forming in the mist. Sirrus blows in from the West, wrong in the picture.

The mist is rising, your line fades. The cloud is a blue milky screen and the mountain is gone.
My gaze is lost.

Perhaps I will visit the woods today.
